In this role you will deploy, administer, and support new and existing enterprise-wide COTS (commercial off-the-shelf) software engineering and DevSecOps applications, leveraging containerized solutions (where possible) to optimize deployments and administration across our classified and unclassified environments. You will join a diverse, regionally distributed team supporting core Software Configuration Management (SWCM) and build capabilities. Additionally, you will drive software modernization and cloud adoption by partnering with engineering teams to migrate legacy technologies to container-based, cloud-hosted, Git-based solutions.\nThe position is remote but may require occasional travel to on-site locations to support programs in the following cities/regions: El Segundo CA, Dallas, TX, Tucson AZ, or Boston Area.\nWhat You Will Do\nApplication Lifecycle: Deploy, sustain, and support enterprise shared software applications on-premise and in cloud environments using DevSecOps principles\nAutomation & Orchestration: Develop and maintain software deployment automation, container orchestration scripts, and infrastructure-as-code templates\nSecurity & Compliance: Configure, harden, and maintain the cybersecurity and compliance posture of all hosted solutions\nPipeline Support: Assist engineering teams with the support, optimization, and integration of software build/test pipelines\nIncident Resolution: Resolve application service incidents and collaborate with Level-1 helpdesk teams to develop internal knowledge base articles\nLegacy Migration: Partner with engineering stakeholders to plan and execute migrations off legacy systems to modern platforms\nArchitecture & Leadership: Develop enterprise-based solution architectures and present performance metrics and demonstrations to leadership\nStakeholder Engagement: Partner with programs and stakeholder groups to align and support application deployments\nMonitoring & Operations: Implement and maintain service monitoring scripts and tools to streamline operations and maximize uptime\nQualifications You Must Have\nTypically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience.\nStrong Linux system administration experience.\nExperience deploying and managing server-based hosted COTS applications in an enterprise environment using on-prem and Cloud (AWS, Azure) infrastructure services (applications such as Jira, GITLAB, Jenkins, etc)\nHands-on experience using Docker and/or Podman\nAbility to develop automation scripts using Bash, Python, and/or PERL\nTroubleshooting network and Web/HTTP concepts (SSL, certificates, proxy, REST) to resolve application configuration issues\nThe ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
