Silicon Sensing Systems is a 50% owned joint venture with Japanese company Sumitomo Precision Products Ltd.\nThe successful candidate will join a small team reporting into a Global Company\nRole Overview:\nWe are currently searching for an Assistant Accountant to join the Silicon Sensing Systems Ltd team within the Mission Systems Strategic Business Unit of Collins Aerospace. This role will support the business with accurate accounting and analysis for the UK company.\nIn addition to this, you will also be responsible for accurately accounting of financial transactions, reconciliations of the balance sheet accounts and support to the finance manager as required.\nThis role offers the opportunity to cover all aspects of accounting within a medium sized technology based company operating in the UK, Japan and USA.\nRole Responsibilities:\nEnsure the accuracy of the financial transactions posted for the business.\nProvide financial support to the other functions and managers in the business as required.\nDetailed inventory analysis and valuation to ensure the records are accurate in the accounts.\nWork towards the role of Subject matter expert for the ERP system\nWhat You Will Learn\nA fantastic opportunity to work within a UK / Japan Joint Venture, learning the accounting and culture of both.
