Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.\nIn this role the Associate Engineer will actively participate in the design and development of test equipment hardware, create test engineering artifacts.\nIn performing these activities, the Associate engineer will interface with customers, external suppliers, project managers, engineering managers, mechanical, software, electrical, and systems engineers, as well as the manufacturing organization and report to Test Engineering technical manager.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nSupport test equipment hardware design.\nCreate test equipment design drawings, schematics, BOM and assembly instructions for ATE as per design specification\nDevelop verification and validation procedures for ATE to ensure system will perform as specified to meet customer and system requirements.\nSupport test equipment assembly and Integration activities\nCommunicate technical issues through written, verbal and presentation media\nSkill Sets:\nExperience in Test equipment hardware design including component selection, review/creation of electrical drawings, schematics, and assembly drawings.\nHands on experience on various test and measurement equipment like NI hardware, third party Data Acquisition Systems, Power Supply, DSO, DMM, Analyser, signal generators etc.\nKnowledge in communications protocols like Serial, Ethernet, CAN and ARINC\nExperience in usage of tools for configuration control, MS Office tools.\nFamiliarity with tools like AutoCAD, OrCAD, PSpice and MS Visio preferable.\nBasic Qualifications:\nDepartment: - Avionics\nQualification: - BE / B-Tech / ME / M-Tech Electrical/ Electronics/Instrumentation Engineering\nDesired Experience: 1-3 Years\nLocation: - Bangalore\nPlease ensure the role type defined below is appropriate for your needs before applying to this role. If you live within a reasonable commute of an RTX site with other colleagues you interact with, your manager will discuss whether there is a degree of onsite presence associated with this role.\nCandidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.\nRequires theoretical knowledge typically obtained through University Degree. Limited to some knowledge of RTX organization.\nTypically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and less than 2 years prior relevant experience.\nEngineering/Other Technical Positions: Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.\nRTX adheres to the principles of equal employment.
