Together, we push the boundaries of known science and find new ways to connect and protect our world.\nOverview:\nResponsible for converting engineering designs into manufacturing-ready processes by developing and maintaining MBOMs, routings, work instructions, and manufacturing plans. Ensures accurate implementation of engineering changes, supports production execution, and drives process standardization through SAP and Solumina systems.\nWhat You Will Do:\nDevelop and modify Manufacturing Bill of Materials (MBOM) structures and manage engineering changes.\nReceive and review Engineering Bill of Materials (EBOM).\nCreate and maintain production routers to optimize workflow and efficiency.\nDevelop and update production and rework work instructions.\nCreate and maintain SAP routings and master routings.\nRelease approved manufacturing and assembly plans for production execution.\nManage Routing Standard Change Request (RSCR) processes.\nDevelop, update, and maintain standard work procedures, Planning in Solumina.\nCreate and update detailed work instructions and routing processes for manufacturing activities.\nCreate and maintain purchase routing (CCS).\nGenerate and maintain tool orders, production orders, and standard work documentation as needed to support production operations.\nCollaborate with Aftermarket teams to assist with field repair and retrofit designs.\nCreate Non-Conformance (NC) rework programs to address quality notifications (QNs) and defects.\nConduct studies to assess and improve production processes and workflows.\nCreate and modify routing steps, hours, lot size, Production Resources and Tools (PRTs), and long text.\nWhat You Will Learn:\nAerospace manufacturing engineering processes\nApplication of DFA/DFM principles in real production environments.\nAssembly installation sequencing and shop floor execution for complex aerospace products.\nERP/PLM tools such as SAP, Teamcenter, Solumina and related manufacturing systems for product data and configuration management.\nCross-functional collaboration across Design, Manufacturing, and Quality teams.\nLean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and problem-solving methodologies.\nQuality-driven manufacturing aligned with AS9100 systems.\nQualifications You Must Have:\nDiploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Aerospace engineering or an equivalent combination of education and relevant industry experience.\n1-5 years of experience in manufacturing support, with hands-on experience in machining and/or assembly shopfloor operations.\nMinimum 1 year of hands-on shopfloor manufacturing experience.\nBasic understanding of manufacturing processes, tools, and methods.\nAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.\nExperience in Unigraphics (NX) or CATIA V5 and Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.\nStrong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. \nQualifications We Prefer:\nExperience in aerospace or automotive manufacturing environments.\nExposure to Teamcenter PLM, Solumina & SAP\nUnderstanding of AS9100 quality standards.\nExperience supporting machine shop or assembly line operations.\nExposure to aerospace interiors & exterior.\nFamiliarity with macros or automation tools.\nKnowledge of quality control tools and structured problem solving.\nCollins Aerospace is a leader in technologically advanced, intelligent solutions that help redefine the aerospace and defense industry.
