Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.\nWhat You Will Do:\nThe Auxiliary Power System (APS) Project Engineering (PE) will support specific APU model in support of the respective Model Program Chief Engineer (MPCE). The PE will be an integral member of the respective program management team.\n\nProvide leadership and guidance as a member of respective program integrated product team (IPT) in support of a new APU development program.\n\nManage the assigned program activity in alignment with the respective PW Management system manual processes as well as all other applicable project management level 2 and level 3 procedures (Specifically section 1.5 Integrated Program Deployment and section 4.0 Develop and Design product)\n\nBe the engineering focal for insuring tasks are appropriately planned, baselined, and tracked via Earn Value Management Systems (EVMS). Ensure all IPTs are tracking to their plans.\n\nManage overall program milestones though tracking IPT’s to commitments and providing overall program execution communication.\n\nMaintain overall program technical risk assessment including the identification of program level technical risk mitigation plans and establishing and tracking tasks to reduce risk.\n\nCoordinate overall program technical communications internally and externally.\n\nEnsure all technical scope changes are properly coordinated with the Program Office and full alignment is gained prior to execution of unplanned work.\n\nCommunicate effectively (verbally and written) to program team, management, and customers.\n\nWork with PW Mod Center functional managers to ensure proper resource plans are in place.\n\nQualifications You Must Have:\nBachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience.\n\nU.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.\n\nMust have the ability to travel 25%.\n\nQualifications We Prefer:\nExperience managing a development project utilizing the PW Management system manual processes.\n\nPlanning, multi-tasking and meeting schedule, budgets and working in a team environment experience.\n\nProject Engineering or Program Management experience\n\nDemonstrated ability in maintaining project budget and schedule within an integrated master schedule program management process.\n\nExperience collaborating across the organization.\n\nWhat We Offer:\nBenefits\n\nRelocation Package\n\nLearn More & Apply Now!\nWhat is my role type?\nIn addition to transforming the future of flight, we are also transforming how and where we work.
