The company's worldwide large commercial engine maintenance, repair, overhaul and material network provides innovative services that add value and delight customers around the globe.\nThe Pratt & Whitney Mobile Services Dallas group is looking for an Aviation Maintenance Technician to support our growing FAR 145 repair station in Dallas, TX.\nWhat You Will Do:\nPratt & Whitney’s Aviation Maintenance Technician will provide aircraft engine maintenance/repair and/or quick turn aircraft engine maintenance within our Dallas based shop. In this role, you may provide engine troubleshooting, aircraft engine repairs, aircraft engine module removal and replacement, and/or line maintenance (including LRU removal and replacement).\nIn this role you will play an important role within our P&W Line Maintenance Services (LMS) organization FAA 145 repair station. The focus of LMS is to provide our customers with increased value through alternative and flexible tailored maintenance solutions.\nPerform aircraft engine maintenance on all models of Pratt & Whitney Commercial aircraft engines.\nHave an incessant focus on the quality of the service you provide and the safety of our Customers and Team Members ensuring all Environmental Health and Safety requirements, Pratt & Whitney/Raytheon Policy and Procedure and Customer/Regulatory Agency quality requirements are met.\nAssist the team in producing first in class aircraft engine maintenance turnaround time/response time through team collaboration and execution of RTX's CORE operating system and continuous improvement processes.\nUnderstand and follow appropriate Aircraft Maintenance Manual, Engine Shop Manual procedures and/or other approved technical data when performing maintenance.\nPerform other supplementary shop and housekeeping duties as required\nBuild Internal and External relationships through good communication skills and understanding of customer perspectives.\nAbility and willingness to travel on short notice to domestic and international locations as required\nMust be able to obtain or currently have a US Passport\nWillingness and ability to learn the skills required to perform aircraft engine inspections and/or lead maintenance activities both in shop and in the field at a Customer location\nQualifications You Must Have:\nHS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US) with a minimum of 1-year relevant experience.\nHolder of a valid Federal Aviation Administration Airframe & Powerplant license\nMinimum of 6 months of experience in repair of commercial aircraft engines\nQualifications We Prefer:\nCraft clear communication\nAnalytical Skills and an analytical approach to problem solving\nCreative troubleshooting skills\nHighly motivated self-starter\nPossess excellent judgment and professional maturity\nPossess extraordinary people and social skills, collaborative team player\nDesire to work in a fast paced ever changing environment\nWhat We Offer:\nMedical, dental, vision benefits\nLife, short term disability, long term disability benefits\nPaid time off including vacation, sick leave, holidays\n401-K with company match\nOther innovative benefits including deals and discounts\nPratt & Whitney Dallas, TX, is a FAA regulated facility and as such under the U.S. Departments of Transportation’s Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
