Discover opportunities to make a difference at RTX.\nWhat You Will Do\nThe Components Analytical Group within the Mechanical Systems Externals and Nacelles (MSEN) Module Center is seeking a Bearings & Seals Engineer I with strong analytical and design skills to expand the team. Activities will involve design and analyses of carbon seals, rolling element bearings including validation and project related activity for commercial and military P&W gas turbine engines.\nAs a Bearings & Seals Engineer I at Pratt & Whitney, you will......\nConduct failure mode investigation and analysis using P&W root cause and corrective action methods and tools.\nProvide field support with customers and suppliers involving new designs, rig testing, and investigations.\nRoutine supplier, customer, and P&W discipline interaction to perform and manage design, analysis, analysis, validation, and production of new and legacy bearing and seal related components.\nContinuous improvement of engineering standard work including development of tools to support new technologies and advance analytical substantiation.\nRoutine presentation of design and analytical results to the customer and executive management.\nRegular involvement and contributions to other P&W process improvement efforts.\nTravel up to 5%\nWhat You Will Learn\nCandidates hired will begin their first 2.5 years at Pratt & Whitney as part of the Engineering Development Program (EDP). This program consists of three rotations that are 12 months in duration and typically occur in three distinct disciplines within the hiring department.
