Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.\nPratt & Whitney’s Commercial Engines organization is seeking a Business Development Manager to support the Connected Products (CP)(automated operational data used to support, maintain and improve the product) and Engine Health Management (EHM) team, responsible for identifying, developing, and executing growth and or cost mitigation strategies across the commercial engine’s portfolio. This role also serves as a project leader for key initiatives ensuring alignment between commercial objectives and digital service innovation. The role requires a blend of commercial acumen, strategic program management, technical understanding, and cross-functional leadership, working with Engineering, Digital Technology, Engine Programs, CFTs, and key external partners to drive aligned commercial and technical outcomes.\nWhat You Will Do:\nBusiness Development:\nLead and support business development initiatives aligned with the Enterprise and Connected Products strategy.\n\nUse operational data to help support, maintain and improve the product.\n\nIdentify, evaluate, and execute new opportunities driven by internal requirements, customer needs, and competitive factors.\n\nSupport enterprise initiatives that integrate engine performance data, predictive maintenance tools, and commercial service offerings.\n\nCollaborate with cross-functional partners including CFTs, Engineering, Digital Technology, Engine Programs, and others to develop strategic plans and deliver program outcomes.\n\nSupport Connected Products growth initiatives and collaboration opportunities across RTX.\n\nDevelop business cases as applicable to support new initiatives.\n\nUp to 10% domestic and international travel may be required\n\nProject Leadership:\nLead cross-functional projects leveraging Connected Products and EHM Services capabilities to drive internal and external value aligned with enterprise and digital transformation goals.\n\nPartner with engineering, digital, aftermarket, and customer support teams to drive development and roll out of new features, analytics, and service offerings.\n\nConvert customer feedback and operational insights into roadmap improvements for Connected and digital Products.\n\nWhat You Will Learn:\nCompany, Connected Products and Digital Strategies\n\nTeam Leadership and Influence Skills\n\nProject Management\n\nStrategic Thinking\n\nBusiness Judgement\n\nQualifications You Must Have:\nBachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field with 10 years of experience; Or an advanced degree in the same fields with 7 years of experience in aerospace or a related industry.
