Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.\nOverview\nWe are seeking motivated and results-driven Operations Cell Leaders to manage day-to-day activities within our Aerospace Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO) environment. The Cell Leader will oversee a cross-functional cell - ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant execution of maintenance and assembly tasks, material flow, and production schedules all focused on driving turnaround time (TAT), cost, and quality improvements.\nWhat You Will Do\nResponsibilities\nManage and oversee operations cells to meet the required operations metrics and goals.\nSupervise the Assistant Foremen, Workshop Engineers, Technicians and Inspectors as well as develop a self-directed and multi-skilled workforce through planned skills training.\nGuide the cell workforce to meet cell targets and goals for quality and on-time delivery, as well as drive root cause analysis when targets are not met.\nImplement production and overtime schedules and procedures, as well as allocate manpower and resources to maximize productivity.\nControl production activities, material flow and inventory used by the cells to achieve cost, quality and delivery targets.\nConduct performance reviews on a regular basis to facilitate or maintain a high operating efficiency for the operations cell.\nAssist the Department Manager in all cost issues related to the cells to meet company’s revenue/profit goals and achieve cost reduction.\nInterface with the various business functions such as Engineering, Quality, HR, Customer Service and Materials to achieve cell goals and company’s objectives.\nEnsure compliance of standards to drive CORE (Customer Oriented, Results & Excellence), EH&S and Ethics culture.\nCarry out any other duties as assigned by the Department Manager.\nQualifications You Must Have\nBachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent disciplines.\n2-3 years' experience in production, operations, or manufacturing with supervisory management.\nProven ability to manage and motivate teams to achieve business goals\nDemonstrated problem solving and leadership skills.\nAbility to communicate at all levels of the organization.\nProcess and detail oriented, including strong interpersonal and prioritization skills.\nLean manufacturing or repair experience with a continuous improvement mindset.\nRTX adheres to the principles of equal employment.
