This role is responsible for creating and maintaining Solumina and SAP master data pertaining to work instructions and configuration for all engine models. This maintenance involves interpreting of engine manuals, service bulletins, airworthiness directives, workscope specifications and other documents related to engine overhaul and incorporating the instructions into data systems.\nIn support of the above activity, liaising with the Central Configuration group as well as locally interpreting and maintaining master data pertaining to configuration for all engine models.\nThis is a full-time, permanent, onsite day-shift position supporting the V2500 and/or GTF engine programmes, reporting to the Senior Engineer - Master Data.\nWhat We’re Looking for\nTo be successful in this role, you will beideally have:\nNew Zealand Diploma in Engineering or related field and 5 years industry experience or, New Zealand/National Certificate in Aeronautical Engineering (Gas Turbine Overhaul) or, (Applied Skills) (Level 4) and 5 years industry experience\nExperienced in use of master data and logistical control toolsets including but not limited to OEM Manuals, Modifications/Airworthiness Directives, SAP, Solumina and customer work instructions.\nThorough knowledge of the process involved with the teardown, inspection, repair, modification, assembly, testing, and certification of engines undergoing repair and refurbishment.\nHigh level of attention to detail with all aspects of Data Management.\nSpecific Experience of Solumina, SAP, Power BI.\nThe ability to Eeffectively analyse data to understand performance, optimise processes and make strategic decisions.\nThe ability to identify challenges, possible solutions and implement effectively.\nWhat We Offer\nAttractive remuneration package with a competitive salary, superannuation, and performance bonuses\nStrong career growth pathways supported by training, mentoring, secondment opportunities, and a scholarship programme\nExtra benefits such as shift and meal allowances, additional paid leave, and recognition for long service and high performance\nAccess to discounted services and products, including health insurance and financial advisory support\nContemporary, conveniently located workplace with secure on-site parking\nAccess to the AirNZ Social Club, wellness initiatives, and employee support programmes\nAbout the Organisation\nChristchurch Engine Centre, a joint venture between Pratt & Whitney and Air New Zealand, delivers world-class maintenance, repair, and overhaul services across all IAE V2500 engine variants and is adding capability for the new PW1100G-JM engine late in 2026.
