As a Data Scientist, you will work across functional areas to support the application of data science and software engineering methods and techniques for production-scale internal use and external research. You will collaborate with stakeholders across and the Applied Artificial Intelligence team to develop analytic products for agile delivery, spanning manufacturing, engineering, business development, and supply chain functions. This role allows you to influence organizational standards by researching and deploying technical solutions for customers as part of a broader ecosystem of machine learning and advanced analytics professional. This is an onsite role in Plano, TX.\nWhat You Will Do:\nDesign and develop data visualizations using tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, or similar platforms to communicate insights effectively.\n\nPerform data analysis on large, complex data sets, generating actionable reports and recommendations.\n\nUtilize experience with various databases for data input, report generation, and data management.\n\nApply machine learning algorithms for data cleaning, exploratory data analysis, and data visualization.\n\nImplement data reduction, feature selection, and feature engineering techniques to provide metrics that support evidence-based decision-making.\n\nAutomate processes to enhance efficiency and scalability in handling large datasets.\n\nCollaborate with engineering teams to communicate findings and address technical challenges.\n\nConduct analysis at all phases of the system lifecycle, including concept, design, modeling, testing, operation, and maintenance.\n\nInterface with stakeholders, including customers, programming management, and senior leadership, to support data-driven strategies.\n\nQualifications You Must Have:\nTypically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience\n\nPython development (numpy, scipy, scikit-image, and scikit-learn) for integration into statistical and/or machine learning applications (beyond academic examples).\n\nDatabases management and SQL development.\n\nExperience with software development, including documentation, testing, bug tracking, version control, and MLOps\n\nActive and transferable U.S. government issued DoD Top Secret security clearance is required prior to start date.
