Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.\nWhat You Will Do\nThis posting is for an Engineer I position in support of Engine Design and Systems Integration (EDSI) - Propulsion Systems Analysis (PSA) Activities. The ideal incumbent will be expected to successfully perform within the following major areas of responsibilities:\nPerform low to medium complexity analytical simulations and performance and operability studies.\nPerform low to medium complexity steady state and transient performance comparison packages which can include data vs. simulation, model to model, control to control, and engine to engine.\nSupport low to medium complexity customer requirements and validate results for onsite engine testing, reduction of steady state and transient data, and other requirements as necessary.\nCreate engine trending packages to monitor engine health.\nRevision of test procedures and instrumentations.\nSupport change requests to models to validate expected results.\nSupport system and design integration activities.\nOther areas of responsibilities to be supported as needed are:\nAttend and have participation in group meetings, teleconferences and/or training required.\nActively participate in initiatives for continuous improvement using CORE tools and support AS9100 efforts.
