This role reports directly to the EH&S Head with dotted line to the Operations Director. The successful candidate will manage a team of EH&S professionals, oversee business units, and lead the implementation of their EH&S Management Systems.\nAs a key partner in EH&S, this role involves developing and implementing EH&S plans and procedures, managing EH&S programs, and ensuring compliance with regulations and RTX requirements. The EH&S Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams, provide guidance on facility and employee practices, and foster a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nManage a team of EH&S professionals and multiple EH&S programs at the site.\nCollaborate with Operations and Site Leadership to integrate EH&S performance into business activities.\nContribute to the development and execution of the site’s EH&S Annual Plan, aligning with broader EH&S strategies.\nDevelop, maintain, and communicate EH&S policies to ensure compliance with legal, RTX, and Collins regulations.\nSupport initiatives to enhance the EH&S culture for employees and contractors.\nOversee regulatory reporting requirements, ensuring compliance with all applicable environmental, health, and safety standards.\nAnalyze EH&S performance indicators and recommend improvements.\nLead incident investigations, determine root causes, and develop corrective actions for safety and environmental incidents.\nUtilize the EH&S SMART reporting system to maintain accurate EH&S records.\nConduct and oversee audits and inspections, presenting findings to the EH&S Management Committee.\nPartner with business units to address EH&S concerns related to facilities and employee practices.\nSupport the implementation and maintenance of the RTX EH&S Management System.\nFacilitate and guide the activities of various EH&S subcommittees.\nPromote a positive EH&S culture across the site.\nRepresent EH&S in site and business meetings to discuss performance and improvement plans.\nDevelop and deliver EH&S training programs as required by policy or regulation.\nFlexibly support additional EH&S assignments or rotations as needed.\nBasic Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Engineering, or related degree, or with at least 8 years of relevant experience.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nAt least 5 years of leadership experience, with strong people management skills.\nProfessional safety certifications are highly desirable.\nKnowledge and experience in Industrial Hygiene, Hygiene Engineering (e.g., dust and pressurized systems), Electrical Safety, Ergonomics, and/or OSHA are a plus.\nComprehensive understanding of Philippines DOLE/OSH requirements.\nPrior experience in a multi-national manufacturing environment.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional demeanor.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant tools.\nStrong influencing and negotiation skills.\nThis position offers an exciting opportunity to lead and enhance EH&S programs while contributing to the success of Collins Aerospace and RTX.
