Hardware Engineering’s capabilities encompass a broad range of technical disciplines which include engineering, technical services, materials, processes, analysis, test, and documentation.\nWithin the Hardware Engineering Organization, the Undersea & Electronics Systems (UES) Department leads the mechanical and electrical design, development, and integration of a diverse set of products, including but not limited to undersea sensors and analysis, naval platforms, shipboard/ground-based processing and power equipment, and launchers.\nThe USS department is looking for full-time Electrical Engineer I, located in Portsmouth, RI.\nWhat You Will Do:\nPerform technical design experience in the areas of Analog, Digital, Mixed Signal, or Power Design.\nSupport the factory and suppliers with product integration\nCollaborate across multiple disciplines/functions to solve complex technical challenges in a fast-paced, team environment.\nValidate design functionality by rapid prototyping and/or simulation\nParticipate in design peer reviews, resolving action items, and conduct trade studies to make sound technical decisions.\nOccasional CONUS travel to customer sites or suppliers is generally required. International and longer duration travel assignments are available but optional\nQualifications You Must Have:\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
