Discover opportunities to make a difference at RTX.\nAs a 2027 intern on the Electrical Engineering team at Raytheon Vision in Goleta, California you will collaborate with team members in the development of electronic products while meeting attendant size, weight, power, reliability, and cost requirements. You will be teamed with more senior engineers on potentially any of the following: digital / analog hardware architecture, schematic capture, design analysis, simulation, parts selection, and hands-on laboratory validation and troubleshooting of complex electronic assemblies and systems.\nWhat You Will Do:\nSupport design and develop high speed digital hardware for Raytheon Vision Systems (RVS) aerospace and aeronautical imaging products and supporting test equipment for those products.\nThey will participate to use standard design and layout tools to develop schematics, participate circuit card layout, and participate circuit analysis of hardware that is developed for those projects.\nSupport and participate in a cross-function team of mechanical engineers, test engineers, firmware engineers, systems engineers, and manufacturing engineering to develop challenging electronics design hardware solutions for RVS imaging products.\nQualifications You Must Have:\nMust be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering and actively enrolled through completion of the internship / co-op session.\nMust have a minimum of 60 hours of credit by the start of the internship / co-op session.\nCoursework, laboratory experience, or project experience in Circuit Design & Analysis is required\nExperience or coursework using tools such as MATLAB, SPICE, and Circuit Board design software. \nExperience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.\nQualifications We Prefer:\nExperience or coursework in any of the following areas:\nElectrical design and analysis with Circuit Board design tools (such as Altium or Mentor Graphics XPedition and HyperLynx SI, and SPICE\nDesign of CCAs with FPGAs, flash memory, DDR RAM, ADCs, DACs, power conversion integrated circuits, and supporting analog circuits \nPower electronics, motor controls, RF systems, or mixed-signal circuit design \nFPGA-based circuitry and JTAG programming of FPGA devices\nMicrocontroller programming, signal integrity analysis \nWhat We Offer:\nOur values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world.
