Supports the development of project plans, schedules and budgets, tracks progress, resolves problems, develops solutions, and forecasts project revenue. Coordinates with other functional organizations. Identifies and addresses project problems, analyzes data gathered, and develops solutions and recommendations to solve problems, meet deadlines and optimize performance.\nSupports the development of project plans, schedules and budgets.\n\nTracks progress, identifies and resolves obstacles to minimize disruption to project schedules to ensure smooth project operations.\n\nSupports in the preparation of status and technical content to CIPT and upper Pratt & Whitney management.\n\nAnalyzes data gathered and develops solutions or alternative methods of proceeding to optimize performance and increase efficiency of work.\n\nWork closely with IPT members and authorities on hardware field investigations to drive root cause and recommend product improvements.\n\nSupports engineering change execution.\n\nMaintains and presents plans and progress reports relating to business aspects of the project(s) to track progress and ensure that established targets are met.\n\nSupport in the execution of risks assessments and mitigation plans.\n\nIdentifies and addresses project problems and recommends resolutions to ensure the successful completion of projects.\n\nFacilitates project tasks with the various functional organizations to ensure alignment with overall project objectives.\n\nSupport military budget EVMS activities & support project management activities.\n\nAttend and have participation in group meetings, teleconferences and/or training required.\n\nActively participate in initiatives for continuous improvement using CORE tools and support AS9100 efforts.\n\nBased on business needs, the incumbent may be required to support other duties/functions within the company.\n\nTravel is up to 10%.\n\nEnglish (read, write, speak) is required when communicating with customers, co-workers, or supervisors who only speak English.\n\nQualifications You Must Have\nBachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.\n\n2 years of experience in engineering or an Advanced degree in Engineering with a GPA of 3.0 or higher\n\nQualifications We Prefer\nExperience working in the Aerospace Industry\n\nPrevious gas turbine compressor experience\n\nExperience with MS Office, Teamcenter, SAP, MS Project or other scheduling software\n\nWhat We Offer:\nEmployee Scholar Program\n\nLearn More & Apply Now!\nCompression Systems Engineering is responsible for the design, development, and in service support of all fans low-pressure and high-pressure compressors for commercial and military engine models.
