Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.\nJob Description:\nPratt & Whitney is seeking methods development engineer in our Systems, Data science & Methods team at the Pratt & Whitney India Engineering Center (IEC) in Bengaluru India. The role will span working with engine module centers and systems engineering teams to develop various tools & methods automation. Main responsibilities include automation of various engineering processes, their validation to improve on engineering workflows.\nResponsibilities:\nLearn the current processes, methods & support the automation of engineering workflows.\nUnderstand the standard work processes, apply them for development till deployment.\nPrepare, maintain, or update documentation of methods and tools\nCollaborate with other team members and stakeholders to identify continuous improvement opportunities.\nExhibit the project ownership for the defined milestones in terms of schedules & quality of deliverables.\nWork with customers to define requirements and trouble shoot issues.\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree (with 4+ yr experience) or Advanced degree (with 2+ yr experience) in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.\nBasic understanding of structural design tools (Ansys, NX, Teamcenter, Hypermesh).\nCoding skills in Python, C, C++.\nFinite Element Modeling and Analysis (Static & Dynamics, Aero-thermal) experience.\nGood communication skills and working as a team player.\nStrong learner and provide creative solutions.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nBackground in Mechanical design, Aero-thermal, Geometric modeling\nStrong proficiency in Python\nFamiliarity with SCRUM and Agile project management methodologies\nExperience with GitHub, JIRA or other code management and product management software\nAbility to interface with customers (internal & external)\nOnsite: Hybrid\nLocation: Bengaluru\nRTX adheres to the principles of equal employment.
