In this role, you will oversee a high-performing team to deliver the ESSM capability and associated support and services to the Japanese Self Defense Force, Mitsubishi Electric Corporation, and future international partners. You will manage the Profit and Loss (P&L) for this business line, drive business growth, and ensure the successful delivery of innovative products and services.\n**This is an onsite position at either our Tucson, AZ or Portsmouth, RI site\n**Relocation assistance is NOT available\nWill You Will Do:\nDirect execution of licensed production for Block 1 sustainment and sparing activities, production support, and Block 2.\nLead international ESSM weapons interface controller (WIC) development programs designed to expand integrated platforms to grow ESSM FMS and DCS sales.\nLead proposal, negotiating, and capture efforts for all future ESSM licensed production business to include both development programs and production efforts. \nOversee program performance, ensuring all contractual obligations, cost targets, and delivery schedules are met.\nDevelop and maintain strong relationships with international customers and partners to align on program objectives and drive customer satisfaction.\nManage risk identification and mitigation strategies to ensure program stability and success.\nManage a distributed team, including at multiple Raytheon facilities and in foreign countries, and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, operations, engineering, contracts, and finance, to achieve program goals.\nDrive business growth through the development and delivery of innovative solutions and services.\nDevelop and execute against short and long-term business strategies for ESSM in Japan and other international licensed production. \nProvide leadership and guidance to the program team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.\nReport directly to the Director, ESSM Production, with significant decision-making authority for program direction and execution while managing Licensed Production PM (P5) and in-country Japan Liaison (P5)\nTravel up to 25% domestically and internationally.\nWhat You Will Learn:\nRaytheon and RTX Business Acumen\nSBU & SSBU organizational structure, responsibilities amongst the programs and the functional areas, and deliverables\nQualifications You Must Have:\nTypically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 12 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 7 years’ experience\nExperience in program or project management, including oversight of cost, schedule, and technical performance.\nExperience leading cross-functional teams to achieve program objectives.\nBusiness acumen to proactively identify and resolve issues efficiently and collaboratively.\nDemonstrated success building and maintaining productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to advance business initiatives.\nPrior experience with driving influence to align stakeholders across functions, levels, and cultures to drive decisions, remove barriers, and achieve business objectives\nQualifications We Prefer:\nLevel 3 Program Management certification or ability to obtain certification within one year.\nExperience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) and financial metrics, including forecasting and managing financials.\nFamiliarity with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and commercial licensing processes.\nDrives affordability and continuous improvement using CORE.\nCORE-Champion Certified or ability to obtain within one year.\nExperience with domestic and international shipping processes.\nLeadership experience utilizing Lean or Agile methodologies in a production environment.\nExperience in identifying and implementing innovative solutions to technical challenges in production environments.\nWhat We Offer:\nOur values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world.
