Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.\nThe following position is to join our RTX Enterprise Services Facilities Team:\nRTX has an opening for a Facilities, Project Manager (Manager, Facilities) position in Tucson AZ.\nWhat You Will Do\nLead/manage projects with teams that includes Facilities Engineers, Architects, outside 3rd party consultants and construction superintendents.\nCoordinate with respective Facilities Mgrs. and site supervision for project planning and resource allocation alignment.\nConsult with project team on critical issues involving engineering disciplines.\nRelay to team any decisions made regarding project design and construction.\nManage the administrative elements of a project including, EAC’s and schedule.\nEstablish in advance, construction project requirements/scope and deliverables in collaboration with the customer, management, and stakeholders.\nEffectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion and liaison with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.\nValidate estimates of the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals. Draft and submit budget baselines and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary.\nSet and continually lead/manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.\nPlan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools identify and manage project dependencies and critical path and develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.\nDetermine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areas.\nProactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential risks and opportunities, and devise contingency plans.\nDefine project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project life cycle.\nBuild, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project.\nFully document and close-out project records, schedules and financials in a timely manner.\nConduct after project reviews and provide recommendations to improve project delivery processes, tools and/or resources. \nDevelop and embrace team best practices and tools for project execution and management.\nQualifications You Must Have\nMinimum of 8+ years’ experience in management of construction of vertical and/or horizontal projects and a Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering - Civil, Mechanical or Electrical or related degree or equivalent combination of related work experience or schooling in lieu of degree.\n5+ years’ experience in management of construction of vertical and/or horizontal projects, which may include managing building maintenance and construction project objectives, EAC’s, schedules and quality control through project closure.\n5 years’ experience leading and managing a successful team to include: scheduling, ordering, field supervision, quality control, and production of all phases of construction including managing/overseeing multiple construction projects across multiple sites.\n5+ years’ experience and knowledge of OSHA Construction Industry regulations and practices as well as working knowledge of Building Codes and local amendments.\n3+ years’ experience and working knowledge of construction techniques and the ability to read construction drawings and specifications.\nThe ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
