  • Serve as the primary contact coordinator for the site and oversee a variety of skilled trades personnel, including welders, electricians, instrumentation technicians, plumbers, machinists, mechanics and other contractors.

  • Issue confined space permits, hot work permits, and other required work permits.

  • Conduct safety orientations and Job Safety Analysis (JSA)/tailboard meetings as required by project scope.

  • Promote compliance with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), confined space, hot work, and other applicable safety procedures.

  • Participate in the site Management of Change (MOC) committee.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of industrial maintenance, facilities, manufacturing, or engineering experience, OR an Associate's degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience, OR in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience.

  • OSHA 510 certification or the ability to obtain certification within 2 months of hire.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related technical discipline.

  • Previous experience leading or supervising industrial maintenance, facilities, plant engineering, or skilled trades activities.

  • Previous experience managing contractors in an industrial, manufacturing, or MRO environment.

  • Prior experience with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), confined space entry, and hot work permitting procedures.

  • Knowledge of industrial electrical safety practices and NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code). Experience performing electrical work is not required; candidates should have sufficient knowledge to provide effective supervision and coordination of qualified electrical workers.

  • Proven communication skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively with internal customers at all levels of the organization.
