The technician will report to the Supervisor and team leader of that designed lab for support tasks.\nThe Final Assembly Technician performs hands-on assembly, integration, and completion of electromechanical products in accordance with engineering documentation, manufacturing instructions, and quality standards. This role ensures that all components are correctly installed, tested, and verified before release to inspection or shipment. The technician will work closely with manufacturing engineering, quality assurance, and production teams to resolve issues, provide feedback, and maintain efficient workflow.\nWhat You Will Do\nAssemble, align, bond, and integrate mechanical and electrical components according to work instructions and engineering drawings.\nPerform basic functional tests, verification checks, and documentation of assembly results.\nMaintain work area cleanliness, organization, and compliance with Factory protocols.\nFollow safety procedures, PPE requirements, and all company quality policies.\nWork within designated takt times and production schedules to meet customer demand.\nCollaborate with engineers and supervisors to improve processes, reduce waste, and optimize workflow.\nCreate different types of harnesses while working off schematics.\nWork in a team environment and meet production deadlines.\nRead engineering drawings, schematics, work instructions, and Bills of Materials.\nGood manual dexterity, attention to detail, and ability to follow standardized procedures.\nThis is a 1st shift, onsite position in Goleta, CA.\n\nQualifications You Must Have\nHS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.\nExperience working in a manufacturing/production environment.\nExperience with standard hand tools and basic measurement devices.\nQualifications We Prefer\nExperience with IR Systems, Focal Plane Assembly packaging processes\nUnderstanding of FOD and FOD-prevention methods\nUnderstanding ESD protocols\nExperience working in a very fast paced environment, must be willing to adapt to several tasks daily\nWhat We Offer\nOur values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world.
