Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.\nThe following position is to join our RTX Corporate, Enterprise Services team:\nAs a Full Stack Software Engineer, you will design, develop, and deploy scalable, secure, and reliable web applications that support RTX’s enterprise technology capabilities. Working across front-end and back-end development, you will leverage React.js, Python, Node.js, and cloud platforms to deliver production-ready solutions. You will also integrate APIs and AI technologies, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), while applying modern software development, automation, and DevOps practices in a highly regulated environment.\nWhat You Will Do\nDevelop and maintain full-stack web applications using React.js for front-end development and Python and Node.js for back-end services.\nBuild and deploy applications on AWS and Azure cloud platforms, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.\nWrite clean, testable, efficient, and maintainable code with comprehensive documentation to support long-term development.\nIntegrate APIs and microservices to support secure, enterprise-grade applications.\nDesign, query, and optimize SQL databases and data storage solutions.\nImplement version control, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and other DevOps tools.\nLeverage AI technologies, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), to enhance application capabilities and workflows.\nParticipate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and Agile ceremonies to promote engineering best practices.\nDevelop secure solutions in a highly regulated environment while ensuring compliance with applicable security standards.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex technical challenges, navigate ambiguity, and deliver end-to-end solutions.\nQualifications You Must Have\nTypically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years of experience.\nExperience developing applications using React.js, Python, and cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.\nExperience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation tools, such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins.\nExperience with front-end development, including responsive design and modern JavaScript frameworks.\nExperience with back-end development, RESTful APIs, and SQL database integration.\nQualifications We Prefer\nExperience with containerization tools such as Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.\nFamiliarity with AI technologies, including RAG, natural language processing (NLP), and related frameworks.\nStrong problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity, establish technical direction, and deliver end-to-end solutions.\nUnderstanding of DevOps methodologies and software engineering best practices.\nDemonstrated technical curiosity and initiative in tackling complex challenges.\nExperience working in highly regulated, security-conscious environments.\nWhat We Offer\nWhether you’re just starting out on your career journey or are an experienced professional, we offer a robust total rewards package with compensation; healthcare, wellness, retirement and work/life benefits; career development and recognition programs. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
