Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.\nThe following position is to join our RTX Corporate, Classified Digital Services (CDS) organization.\nAs a Junior Network Engineer, you will support the implementation, maintenance, and security of network infrastructure within classified environments. Working alongside senior engineers, you will help troubleshoot network issues, maintain secure network services, support compliance activities, and contribute to infrastructure projects that protect mission-critical systems.\nWhat You Will Do\nAssist with configuring, monitoring, and maintaining routers, switches, firewalls, and secure communication systems.\nTroubleshoot network connectivity and performance issues, escalating complex incidents as needed.\nSupport network security controls and ensure compliance with CDS standards and regulatory requirements.\nMaintain network services, including DNS, DHCP, IP address management, VLANs, and network segmentation.\nAssist with infrastructure upgrades, patching, and configuration changes.\nMaintain network diagrams, device configurations, technical documentation, and standard operating procedures.\nSupport compliance reviews, audits, and network configuration assessments.\nProvide network support to CDS users and collaborate with senior engineers on classified network projects and modernization initiatives.\nQualifications You Must Have\nTypically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years of experience.\nActive Secret Clearance or eligibility to obtain one.\nExperience with networking principles, including TCP/IP, routing, switching, and the OSI model.\nExperience with enterprise networking equipment such as Cisco and Palo Alto.\nExperience with cybersecurity frameworks and compliance standards, such as NIST, RMF, and DISA STIGs.\nQualifications We Prefer\nActive TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph.\nStrong troubleshooting, analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.\nEffective communication and ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders across classified-services teams.\nCertifications such as CCNA, Security+, or other networking and security credentials.\nExposure to scripting or automation tools such as Python or PowerShell.\nLearn More & Apply Now!\nWork Location Onsite \nPlease consider the following role type definition as you apply for this role:\nOnsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
