Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.\nThe Surveillance Logistics team is seeking a Logistics Specialist to join the Pack/Ship team onsite in McKinney, TX. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the accurate and efficient processing and shipping of commercial and government-owned assets. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) Transportation rules and regulations.\nWhat You Will Do\nEnsure logistics activities comply with required regulations and safety standards.\nEstablish and maintain customer relationships.\nWork with Pack/Ship and Raytheon customers to verify documentation and hardware.\nUtilize logistics data to identify and resolve issues, and make informed, data-driven decisions.\nExecute SAP (APEX & PRISM) processes, including PRISM and outbound shipments.\nReview authorizations for shipment in Wide Area Workflow Receiving Reports, DD1149s, and DD1348s.\nMaintain accountability and knowledge of government rules and regulations, including Defense Transportation Regulations and Military Freight Traffic Unified Rules publication.\nCoordinate and monitor workflow, reprioritizing activities in assigned areas to improve service level commitments.\nProvide customer service support and address inquiries related to logistics and shipping.\nAssist in the handling and shipment of Military assets using government shipping software systems.\nAbility to work additional hours and occasional Saturdays as needed.\nAbility to lift up to 28 lbs.\nQualifications You Must Have\nTypically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and less than 2 years prior relevant experience.\nExperience in a logistics, shipping and/or transportation-related role.\nExperience with reviewing, evaluating, and interpreting contractual documents for completeness, compliance, and clarity.\nExperience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).\nU.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.\nQualifications We Prefer \nExperience working with Government Furnished Material (GFM).\nExperience using SAP.\nFamiliarity with Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) and Defense Transportation Regulations.\nKnowledge of import/export compliance processes.\nWhat We Offer\nOur values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world.
