As the Machine Operator you will operate Fasteners automated machinery to produce aircraft parts within the cell..\nWork Location: Oakville Facility, Ontario - Canada\nShift Hours - Weekday Afternoon: Monday-Thursday (4pm - 2am)\nWhat You Will Do\nSetup machinery, by loading and unloading aircraft parts into the machine.\nStart and run machinery as per standard procedures.\nWork alongside with Machinist to optimize machines and produce quality parts.\nMonitor performance of the process to meet drawing requirements.\nMonitor machine operation and troubleshoot where necessary & report problems\nPerform inspection of parts produced with high degrees of accuracy to comply with OSV requirements.\nTroubleshoot issues and perform preventative maintenance.\nSupport and promote continuous improvement, 5S activities and Standard Work Development in the cell\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nQualifications We Require\nTypically; High school diploma, and a minimum of 2 years of relevant machine operator experience in a manufacturing environment.\nThe selected candidate has to be eligible to work in Canada; successful candidate must meet all requirements under ITAR and CCGP\nQualifications We Prefer\nDemonstrated ability to operate and use an overhead crane in a safe manner.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills (English).\nWillingness to train in the cell and to work overtime.\nZoller tool presetting experience.\nOur Advanced Structures team leverages advanced materials and additive manufacturing to develop complex interior and exterior solutions.
