No Relocation assistance is offered for this position.\nSet up and operate NC milling machines, vertical turret lathes or VTC’s to perform routine production operations on a variety of similar weldments and assemblies.\nWork from operation sheets, part travelers, BOROPS, and oral instruction to set up equipment for turning, facing, boring and chamfering operations involving a limited number of surfaces to be machined.\nVerify conformance of finished work to specifications using precision measuring instruments.\nMaintain Operator Certification to be able to accept/reject parts.\nMaintain machines by performing required total preventive maintenance (TPM)\nWork with engineers, quality assurance, programmers and other production personnel or others to resolve machining problems and assist in part process development.\nMay be assigned to carry out tasks not specifically listed, within the scope and skill level of this job description in support of department objectives.\nWhat You Will Learn\nLearn different Machining techniques.\nMultiple Types of machines, CNC turning, Grinding, Assembling/Disassembling\nQualifications You Must Have\nHigh School or GED\n1 + years of related experience, or a completed degree/certificate from a post-secondary or vocational school in a related field with 0-1+years related experience\nU.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract\nQualifications We Prefer\nAbility to make computations involving decimals and fractions\nAbility to set up machines, troubleshoot, do standard walk-arounds and inspect own work\nAbility to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously\nWhat We Offer\nThe salary range for this role is $ 18.30--$34 .40 .
