Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.\nRTX is seeking a skilled and experienced Manager, Workforce Intelligence (Data Architect) to join our team.\nWhat You Will Do:\nDesign and maintain scalable HR data architecture in Snowflake, including databases, schemas, data models and semantic views.\nBuild and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Matillion and Snowflake to support reporting, analytics and operational needs.\nDefine and enforce data governance, data quality, consistency, lineage, naming standards and compliance with regulatory requirements for HR data.\nDevelop and maintain data controls to ensure the integrity and reliability of data across systems and workflows.\nImplement and manage security policies for user views and semantic layers, including role-based access and data protection.\nManage SQL Server environments used for metadata management, including performance tuning and reliability.\nEstablish DevOps practices (version control, deployment automation, environment promotion) for schemas, pipelines and data models.\nPartner with Product and Delivery, BU Consultants and BI development teams to translate requirements into scalable, governed data solutions.\nProvide consultation and guidance on data architecture, integration and analytics capabilities.\nCreate and maintain comprehensive documentation for data architecture designs, processes, governance policies, and integrations.\nSupport AI-ready and agentic use cases by organizing trusted semantics, metadata and reusable data products.\nQualifications You Must Have:\nTypically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience\n7+ years of experience in data architecture or data engineering.\nStrong hands-on experience with Snowflake (design, modeling, performance) and cloud data services.\nExperience building API Integration, ETL/ELT pipelines.\nStrong SQL Server skills (design, indexing, performance tuning).\nProven experience with data governance, metadata management and data security.\nExperience with version control (e.g., Git) and automated deployment for data assets.\nStrong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.\n Qualifications We Prefer\nExcellent communication and coordination skills to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nCertification in Snowflake or relevant cloud data services.\nScripting skills (e.g., Python, Shell) for automation.\nFamiliarity with API integrations and microservices architecture.\nKnowledge of cloud platforms (Preferably Azure).\nExperience with HR systems such as Workday\nPlease ensure the role type defined below is appropriate for your needs before applying to this role. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
