This position plays a pivotal role in delivering strategic financial insights, strengthening cost management discipline, and driving improvements in enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives.\nThis role requires advanced knowledge of financial systems, strong business acumen, and the ability to influence operational partners through clear, data-driven analysis. The ideal candidate will work independently, coach junior team members, and support efforts to modernize reporting and forecasting capabilities.\nWhat You Will Do:\nServe as a lead financial analyst within the ES Digital portfolio, managing overhead cost center expenses (FTEs, software, hardware, contractor labor, etc.) across multiple service lines.\nLead monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting and planning activities, ensuring compliance with government accounting regulations (CAS/FAR) and alignment with AOP and Long-Range Plan (LRP) targets.\nDevelop and maintain financial models, variance analyses, and performance dashboards to inform business decisions and resource allocations.\nPrepare, manage, and reconcile pre-paid and accrual journal entries related to overhead expenses, ensuring accuracy and timely closeout in accordance with GAAP and internal policy.\nPartner directly with ES functional leadership to understand financial drivers, evaluate trade-offs, and present insights that guide strategic execution.\nAnalyze infrastructure cost allocations and support transformation initiatives that optimize cost structures across digital programs.\nPrepare and present executive-level financial briefings summarizing key performance drivers, risks, and recommendations; translate complex financial data into clear leadership narratives.\nContribute to the development of goals, operational plans, and budgets across the discipline, with visible impact on broader organizational outcomes.\nCoach, review, and work with other finance professionals; serve as a technical and professional resource for lower-level analysts on the team.\nDrive process improvements and reporting enhancements - including Power BI and automated financial workflows - increasing forecast accuracy, transparency, and operational efficiency.\nResponsible for identifying and implementing moderate to significant improvements in processes, systems, and reporting tools to enhance overall team performance.\nInfluence policies, practices, and procedures within and outside the finance function at an operational level\nManage and support internal and external audits; ensure adherence to internal controls and disclosure requirements.\nEnsure compliance with government accounting regulations (CAS/FAR) and disclosure statement obligations across all financial activities.\nCommunicate and coordinate with parties within and outside the organization - including customers, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders - on financial governance matters.\n Qualifications You Must Have:\nTypically requires a University Degree or equivalent finance or accounting experience including FP&A, overhead budgeting, or project support, and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience\nDemonstrated subject-matter expertise in FP&A with a track record of operating independently and delivering results with minimal oversight.\nAdvanced Excel, data modeling, and financial systems experience (SAP, AO, PRISM, APEX, Power BI).\nExperience with large data sets and data manipulation techniques, including budgeting, forecasting, actuals monitoring, and variance analysis.\nExperience with government compliance requirements (CAS/FAR) and disclosure statement governance.\nProven ability to coach and develop lower-level finance professionals; experience reviewing and delegating work effectively.\nExceptional written and verbal communication skills; demonstrated experience presenting financial insights to executive and cross-functional stakeholders.\nAbility to meet critical deadlines and drive process improvements in a complex, matrixed environment.\nQualifications We Prefer:\nExperience supporting Digital Technology, Applications, or Infrastructure portfolios in a large, regulated enterprise environment.\nFamiliarity with cost center management, cross-charging, and labor planning in a matrixed organization.\nPrior exposure to financial transformation initiatives and reporting modernization efforts.\nComfortable making decisions with imperfect information in a fast-paced, geographically dispersed team environment.\nDemonstrated drive for leading process change and partnering with cross-functional teams to improve forecast accuracy and reporting quality.\nInquisitive with strong analytical and mathematical skills;
