Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.\nWhat You Will Do\nIn this highly visible role, the Manager, Manufacturing Operations, will drive industrial rate readiness throughout the Value Stream for the Military Engines development programs. This person will also have the unique opportunity to partner with the research and development team.\nThe Manager, Manufacturing Operations, is responsible for working with the program to drive the delivery, quality, and cost goals, while also focusing on identifying and mitigating risk in the short to long term.\nResponsibilities will include, but are not limited to:\nDelivery assurance, supply chain sourcing and mitigation, operations assessments, ensuring timely transitions execution, with creation and completion of industrial plans\nManage critical engineering changes to keep program commitment dates; development also encompasses new product introduction\nSupport all program activities with the coordination and maintenance of the program industrial plan along with CIPTs, Module Centers, Partner Companies and Global Supply Chain\nMonitored part improvements through a series of Key Process Indicators and standard delivery metrics\nSupport testing operations and work closely in vendor/partner relationships. Work closely with subject matter design and manufacturing engineering to help solve problems and mitigate risks\nPrepare/present content for Program Industrial Reviews\nUp to 25% regional, domestic travel\nMust be able to obtain a secret security clearance, as Military Engines development programs are classified in nature\nQualifications You Must Have:\nA University degree and minimum 8 years’ experience in manufacturing, operations management, program/project management or similar industrial environment or an advanced degree with 5 years’ related experience\nU.S. Citizen - The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
