We’re looking for a professional Quality Manager to join our team. The primary focus of this role is to ensure QMS adherence and overall product quality, while supporting daily operations of the assigned manufacturing cell staff members, which typically is made up of operators and inspectors. This is a phenomenal opportunity to enter the Aerospace industry and hone your skills while developing skills in a thriving industry.\nKey Responsibilities:\nLead and develop a team of quality engineers to deliver results while ensuring, safety, quality, delivery, and cost.\nLead and mentor direct reports to foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.\nPartner with safety, operations, engineering, materials, and maintenance teams to meet deliverables and solve problems.\nEvaluate and approve technical data and work instructions in support of engineering and operations.\nDrive the implementation of quality initiatives.\nPerform Escape Management procedures, root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions for internally produced products & processes.\nPromote the Product Safety and Quality culture in the business, through compliance to the QMS and adherence to Quality Cardinal Rules.\nChampion best practices to reduce quality notifications, Cost of Poor Quality, Accruals, Time on Part, and Customer returns.\nRepresent our business with external customers and suppliers. Build relationships and actively resolve concerns.\nQualifications You Must Have:\nAdvanced degree and 5+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, Quality Management, Operations, Engineering or Supporting Compliance within Aviation, Aerospace, Automotive, Defense or other regulated industry; OR Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of relevant industry experience; OR Associate’s degree and 10+ years of relevant industry experience.\n5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering, or MRO operations\nQualifications We Prefer:\nExperience with Quality Management Systems (i.e., AS9100/AS9110 or ISO 9001) and audit process\nASQ certifications (CQE, CQA, CMQ/OE) or equivalent.\nDegree in STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics)\nStrong working knowledge of FAA Part 145, EASA, AS9110, and other relevant regulatory frameworks.\nRoot Cause and Corrective Action experience (QCPC, RCCA Red-X, Fault Tree, etc.)\nExperience with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies (CORE/ACE/Six Sigma, etc.)\nExperience using Microsoft Office Suite programs, SAP ERP, and Solumina MES\nAbility to work and effectively communicate with all levels of management, shop personnel, external customers and regulatory agencies (i.e. DCMA, FAA, etc.).\nWhat is my Role Type?\nIn addition to transforming the future of flight, we are also transforming how and where we work.
