The successful candidate will be responsible for Machine Shop and Subcontract Routings in S.A.P as well as oversight of Machine Shop activities. They will also be required to actively handle issues arising from technical queries and interact with all levels within the business to ensure production / operational issues are dealt with swiftly and accurately.\nWhat you will do:\nFully comply with all EH&S (Environment, Health & Safety) roles and responsibilities as identified by Company procedures.\nReview and maintain Machine Shop Routings.\nCreate new repair scheme routings and routing amendments for operational needs in S.A.P.\nReview future plant, equipment, tooling and gauging requirements.\nManage projects / process introductions from start to finish.\nSupport laser engraving, spring rate and cleaning processes.\nActively participate in and assist with the facilitation of Kaizen style activity.\nHighlight change opportunities (cost & processes).\nFacilitate new product introduction.\nPreferred Skills & Experience:\nComprehensive knowledge of manufacturing and engineering processes.\nIdeally aerospace or automotive sector experience.\nExposure to a continuous improvement culture.\nProficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint (Minitab also preferred but not essential).\nA pro-active, ‘can do’ attitude.\nExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal.\nProven influencer.\nAnalytical approach to problem solving\nDesirable\nAerospace, Automotive or Defence manufacturing experience.\nExcellent analytical and communications skills\nWhat You Will Learn:\nProfessional Development: Gain access to company-sponsored certifications and training programs, mentorship and guidance from industry leaders, opportunities to develop your leadership skills by driving exciting high-impact projects and initiatives.
