We have an immediate career-growth opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Goleta, California\nWhat You Will Do\nWrite manufacturing plans and instructions in accordance with engineering specifications, quality requirements, safety needs, and security requirements. \nGenerate Bills of Material (BOMs). \nParticipate in tooling reviews and provide evaluation and feedback of tool designs. \nReview hardware for compliance; generate work/rework/repair documentation; perform troubleshooting to support production activities. \nDetermine the causes of defects and improve processes through updates to work instructions, tooling, process, programs, or equipment; present results of investigations to peers and management at Corrective Action Board (CAB). \nTroubleshoot to support production activities and project delivery. \nQualifications You Must Have\nBachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) obtained by start date\nExperience in manufacturing processes and/or assembly of mechanical and electronic assemblies.\nExperience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, or Outlook) for daily communications, tracking, and documenting manufacturing processes for assembly. \nThe Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government issued clearance is required. U.S. Citizenship is required as only US citizens are eligible for a security clearance. \n*Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.\nQualifications We Prefer\nKnowledge of military and commercial manufacturing processes. \nKnowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Materials/ Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
