Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.\n*2 Open Positions*\nWhat You Will Do:\nThe Manufacturing Engineer will identify and mitigate manufacturing risk to achieve superior quality performance.\nIdentify and implement process optimization and control methods to eliminate/prevent quality turn backs/escapes and reduce overall product costs.\n\nUse statistical analysis tools to perform Root Cause Analysis and corrective actions on non-conforming product.\n\nDrive targeted manufacturing process optimization through innovative solutions.\n\nSchedule and facilitate periodic project reviews and ensure validation of MRL gate advancements.\n\nEffectively use scorecards and metrics to ensure progress and lead projects critical to improving manufacturing process capability and quality performance.\n\nTo execute the desired process improvement, the candidate will be responsible for project planning, collaborating with various engineering disciplines, and influencing management to implement the desired solutions.\n\nWork with shop floor and support functions; represent manufacturing needs across the organization.\n\nDomestic travel up to 10%.\n\nQualifications You Must Have:\nBachelor’s Degree in Engineering (aerospace, industrial, mechanical, manufacturing or similar) and 2 or more years’ experience in an engineering, manufacturing operations or related environment, OR a Master’s Degree in Engineering and minimum 1 year of experience in an engineering, manufacturing operations or related environment.\n\nProficiency in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.\n\nHold a current U.S. government-issued Secret Clearance OR be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued Secret Clearance.\n\nQualifications We Prefer:\nSix Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification, CORE/Six Sigma Practitioner/professional certification.\n\nUnderstanding of continuous improvement concepts: DFSS, Red X, Lean, etc.\n\nDemonstrated technical proficiency in complex manufacturing activities (specifically 5-axis milling and turning).\n\nProficiency with Minitab and other statistical software.\n\nProficient in statistics, data analytics, DOE, and multivariate statistics.\n\nPlease ensure the role type defined below is appropriate for your needs before applying to this role. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
