This position will Onsite at the Santa Isabel site.\nJob Overview:\nThis Manufacturing Engineering COOP position will provide an opportunity for an engineering student to provide technical support to daily manufacturing needs emphasizing in process improvements. The resource will be guided by a Manufacturing Engineering coach and support Projects as well as Mistake Proof solutions to manufacturing opportunities to prevent recurrence and meet operational cost standards.\nWhat you will do:\nSupport the set up & operation of a variety of manufacturing & test equipment\nSupport Testing a variety of electromechanical units using prescribed test procedures following print requirements\nSupport configuration and or verification of regular test equipment to fit special tests\nInterpret and record test results\nRead and interpret assembly and test instructions, engineering prints, and schematics\nUtilize computer systems (e.g. work instructions, labor charging, prints, and standards)\nProcess material requisitions in accordance with established procedures\nSupport Evaluation, disposition, and implementation of corrective actions following non-conforming material procedures\nPromote mistake proofing solutions\nRecognize and take steps to resolve work area issues\nMaintain accurate records of all work performed\nEnglish (read, write, speak) is required when communicating with customers, co-workers, or supervisors who only speak English\nQualifications you must have:\n3 + years of studies conducing to BS in Engineering, preferably Computer, Industrial, Electrical or Mechanical\nGood reading, writing & math skills\nGood computer skills (MS Office; Word and Outlook) Daily use of computers.\nUnderstand theory of electronic circuitry & electrical components\nAbility to read and interpret assembly / test instructions, engineering standards, engineering prints, and schematics\nAbility to follow written and verbal instructions\nUse diagnostic and hand tools\nUnderstand and operate electronic test equipment\nHandle multiple tasks at the same time\nCAD Design Capability (NX, Solid Works preferable)\nJava, PHP, MATLAB Programming capability preferred.\nLearn More & Apply Now!\nThis position is classified as:\nOnsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite.
