Discover opportunities to make a difference at RTX.\nWhat You Will Do:\nWork with Industrial Engineers, production floor operators, and manufacturing support staff to resolve issues related to product flow, quality, ergonomics, and safety using state-of-the-art manufacturing techniques.\nDevelop or improve designs for fixtures or tooling to aid in manufacturing processes, including building, verifying, and implementing those fixtures using laser machines, 3D printers, and other manufacturing equipment.\nIdentify root causes of manufacturing defects and process inefficiencies, and implement effective corrective actions.\nProgram and operate manufacturing equipment such as laser machines and 3D printers to support fixture development.\nAssist in the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.\nWhat You Will Learn:\nVarious manufacturing techniques used to build advanced electronic equipment.\nHow aerospace manufacturing environments function and operate effectively.\nSkills to prioritize and balance multiple projects.\nFirsthand experience of what it is like to work as an engineer in the industry.\nQualifications You Must Have:\nActively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related STEM major through the completion of the co-op session.\nCompleted at least 60 credit hours prior to the start of the internship/co-op session.\nQualifications We Prefer:\nExperience using Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access).\nExperience with SolidWorks modeling.\nExperience with VBA or other scripting languages.\nKnowledge or experience with 3D modeling or laser cutting.\nLearn More & Apply Now\nPlease ensure the role type defined below is appropriate for your needs before applying to this role. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
