As a Manufacturing Engineering Cost Modeler, you will play a vital role in advancing part cost forecasting and analysis methods, assessing the financial impact of new technologies, and supporting cost reduction initiatives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain cost models that inform business decisions and drive operational efficiency.\nWhat You Will Do:\nDevelop and maintain cost models and methods to support part cost forecasting and analysis.\nAnalyze engineering changes, part drawings, supplier information, and manufacturing data to assess impacts on manufacturing costs.\nCollaborate with engineering, Global Supply Chain, and the Partnership Program Office to ensure alignment on cost modeling strategies.\nSupport Manufacturing Readiness Level (MRL) evaluations by providing cost estimates and financial assessments.\nEvaluate the business implications of new product designs, technology advancements, and design changes.\nContribute to manufacturing cost reduction initiatives and identify opportunities for process improvement.\nParticipate in supplier and partner negotiations to substantiate cost model elements.\nQualifications You Must Have:\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering (Manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechanical) or related technical field and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field.\nExperience in creating and analyzing cost models for manufacturing processes.\nQualifications We Prefer:\nExperience in Export Control and CORE Apprentice Level training (Continuous Improvement Tools).\nBasic understanding of Supply Chain/Strategic Sourcing processes, including Long-Term Agreements (LTA).\nPrevious use and familiarity with CAD software.\nLearn More & Apply Now!\nPlease ensure the role type (defined below) is appropriate for your needs before applying to this role. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
