Our innovative solutions include lighter-weight, high-strength materials; more electric technologies; DURACARB® carbon friction material; EDL® extended life configurations; and innovative aircraft gear, wheel and brake design.\nWhat You Will Do:\nAssure processes, equipment, fixture design, routings, programming, tooling, and standard work in support of production requirements. Plant processes include: Assembly Processes for Aircraft Brakes and Wheels, Machining, Anodize, Chemical Etch, Aluminum Conversion Coating, Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection, Waste Water Treatment, and Shot Peen. \nContinuously improve quality and productivity using the CORE Operating System for products and processes including compliance to these processes. \nIdentify and implement cost savings as related to direct and indirect labor savings, and expense account budgets.\nSupport activities related to compliance audits including AS9100, NADCAP, etc.\nSupport Project and Contractor Management\nQualifications You Must Have:\nMust be pursuing Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Technology, or related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) major and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.\nExperience in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. \nExperience delivering presentations using data visualization tools to communicate production metrics or project updates to cross-functional teams or leadership.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nMinimum of 60 completed hours of credit by the start of the co-op.\nExperience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.\nWhat We Offer\nOur values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world.
