This position has leadership responsibilities within Auto Insert / Wave / Prep / Kitting work centers. As a senior leader, you will drive operational excellence, ensure timely delivery of high-quality products, lead cross-functional teams, and manage end-to-end processes within the value stream to meet customer requirements. This role will play a critical part in achieving our goals in efficiency, quality, and cost management while fostering a culture of continuous.\nDaily interaction with other cross-business teams needed to maintain and meet organizational goals and objectives is required to be successful. These groups include technical support, manufacturing/design engineering, maintenance, production control and finance as well as multiple Integrated Product Teams. Achieving/exceeding safety, quality, delivery, cost goals and identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities using CORE and lean methodologies are critical performance criteria for this position.\n\nWhat You Will Do\nOperational Leadership: Lead all aspects of Auto Insert / Wave / Prep / Kitting, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives, customer commitments, and operational targets.\nValue Stream Planning: Develop and execute production schedules, capacity planning, workforce planning, and resource allocation to meet demand while optimizing productivity and costs.\nTeam Leadership: Manage, mentor, and develop a high performing team, including operators, engineers, and technical support staff. Foster collaboration and accountability across the team.\nContinuous Improvement: Identify and implement Lean principles, CORE methodologies, and other best practices to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality\nQuality Assurance: Ensure compliance with internal processes/procedures, quality standards and external customer requirements.\nCross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, production control, quality, and other cross business teams to resolve issues, improve processes, and drive innovation within the value stream.\nMetrics and Reporting: Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), including safety, on-time delivery, yield, cycle time, Unit Hour performance, COPQ, and customer satisfaction.\nRisk Management: Identify and mitigate risks related to production schedules, yield issues, and technical challenges.\nCustomer Focus: Serve as the primary interface with internal NHA customers, ensuring clear communication and alignment to expectations.\nGrowth: Lead the team through a period of rapid growth, process migration and new capital release to production.\nQualifications You Must Have\nTypically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years’ experience.\nExperience in one or more of those areas: Engineering, Manufacturing, executing improvement to process, Operations, Supply Chain, Production Control and/or Quality.\n Qualifications We Prefer\nStrong management experience in a manufacturing defense industry\nAbility to make decisions with minimal supervision, goal setting, delegation, coaching, and motivating\nExcellent communication skills (written and verbal) and presentation skills\nSolid interpersonal skills to manage tasks that bridge operations, production control, engineering, supply chain, and customer relations\nHigh computer literacy and with confidence and skill working with Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Project).\nFamiliarity with Raytheon systems (PRISM, PDM, VBS)\nEVMS Certified\nWhat We Offer\nOur values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world.
