Right now, we are seeking a bright and energised Material, Inventory and Supplier Specialist.\nJoin our team of outstanding people with expertise across a wide variety of disciplines and position yourself at the forefront of tomorrow’s capabilities.\nThe CSMF Material, Inventory and Supplier Specialist reports to the Material, Inventory and Logistics Manager and is responsible for delivering advanced supply support services, including inventory management, subcontractor administration, supplier performance management, and data governance across Material Supply Support (MSS) activities.\nKey Responsibilities\nManage subcontractor activities, including coordination of deliverables, schedules, and performance outcomes.\nConduct subcontractor status reviews and maintain visibility of risks, issues, and performance metrics.\nSupport supplier performance management activities, including monitoring, reporting, and improvement initiatives.\nLiaise with subcontractors, suppliers, Commercial and Procurement teams to ensure alignment and delivery outcomes.\nSupport vendor onboarding, due diligence, and supplier capability assessments.\nAdminister subcontract deliverables, including Contractor Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs) and reporting.\nSupport calibration subcontract administration and compliance activities.\nContribute to governance processes ensuring adherence to contractual, regulatory, and company requirements.\nPerform advanced inventory management activities, including analysis, reconciliation, and optimisation across multiple systems.\nDevelop and maintain reporting on inventory performance, supplier performance, and subcontractor status.\nAnalyse trends, risks, and opportunities to improve supply chain performance and data integrity.\nContribute to maintenance of supply chain data repositories and management information systems.\nEngage with internal and external stakeholders to resolve complex supply chain issues.\nProvide subject matter expertise and guidance on supply support and inventory management activities.\nIdentify and implement improvements to processes, systems, and reporting.\nTravel may be required within Australia to fulfil the requirements of this role.\nOther duties as deemed relevant to program and operational requirements.\nSkills, Experience and Qualifications\nA University Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field, or equivalent industry experience.\nMinimum 8-12 years of relevant supply chain or logistics experience.\nDemonstrated experience is required in: \nExperience in inventory management and supplier or subcontractor management.\nExperience with ERP systems and data analysis tools.\nPractical knowledge of Defence or complex supply chain environments.\nExposure to inventory optimisation and warehousing environments.\nSuccessful candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain a NV-1 Security clearance as needed.
