Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.\nRaytheon is seeking a Material Program Manager (MPM) with demonstrated project management skills who will be closely accountable for ensuring supplier performance within the ASDS portfolio. In this position, you must be a self-starter, capable of achieving organizational and program goals, and able to successfully interface with varying levels of management. The MPM is accountable to overall supplier management, performance and success and is the interface between Supply Chain, the Program Office/Integrated Product team (IPT), supplier, and other functions working on various contract lifecycles. This role is responsible for executing supply chain strategies and ensuring organizational and program objectives are achieved.\nWhat You Will Do\nWork closely with program and partnering functions to ensure successful supplier management and execution in support of program needs and requirements in support of EAC review, and Execution Gate activities.\nSupport planning, execution, and reporting of material budgets, schedules, and Annual Operating Plan (AOP) commitments.\nUse critical thinking skills to propose sound and innovative business solutions to increase operational efficiencies to ensure business area and program success.\nProcess information from multiple sources to achieve a successful outcome.\nExecute supply chain strategies by overall ownership of the supplier management process including supplier performance, supply chain metrics, and communication of customer flow through requirements.\nIdentify/Generate material risks opportunities in alignment with program execution and proactively manage mitigation/capture plans.\nAssist with generation of Supplier Statement of Work (SSOW).\nGenerate and process Supplier New Add / Re-Activation request.\nWork closely with IPT: Engineering, Quality and Operations to support program budget and schedule and resolution of product non-conformances.\nSupport by providing input on slides and files during team tag-ups and daily/weekly program meetings.\nParticipate in weekly supplier engagements to ensure required performance is met.\nAssist procurement with supplier Request for Proposals / Quotes (RFP’s / RFQ’s) / Purchase Order placement/management,\nThis role will require you to be onsite in our Tucson, AZ facility.\nThis position is also offered in:\nTucson AZ Airport Site\nQualifications You Must Have\nTypically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and less than 2 years prior relevant experience.\nExperience in a supply chain role such as procurement supplier management, contracts, performance analyst and/or program management.\nExperience in desktop computing tools (MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Project).\nExperience with material requirements planning (MRP) processes and using manufacturing or enterprise planning tools.\nQualifications We Prefer\nExperience in the supply chain defense industry.\nExperience managing budgets in support of the Estimate at Completion (EAC) process and Material Forecasting.\nExperience working with suppliers.\nEarned Value Management (EVM) certification or equivalent.\nExperience using and creating pivot tables in Microsoft Excel .\nLearn More & Apply Now!\nPlease consider the following role type definition as you apply for this role.Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite.
