Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.\nWhat You Will Do:\nA Material Program Manager (MPM) in the Operations & Supply Chain group is needed for the Raytheon Advanced Technologies Strategic Business Unit - Advanced Hypersonic Weapons (AHW) directorate in Tucson, AZ. This role requires advanced/applied knowledge of the material requirements planning process, project management and proposal activities.\nIn this role, you’ll apply your existing knowledge of Supply Chain, material requirements planning and business acumen within a matrixed organization. You will develop and lead a material program strategy/plan for programs or integrated product teams and you’ll participate in proposals by developing and leading supply chain proposal activities including task descriptions and basis of estimates and participating in gate review preparation and/or support activities as well as assisting with the generation of Supplier Statement of Works (SSOW).\nYou’ll use your excellent written and verbal communication skills to influence decisions across multiple areas outside of your job function as well as with parties external to the organization. In addition, you’ll have the opportunity to lead projects as well as engage in budgeting and financial management, as well as issues and conflict resolution. Working in a matrixed environment, you will frequently need to communicate at an executive level within and outside your function, using your ability to influence others to gain alignment on plans, policies, practices and procedures.\nWorking at the front end of the business, you’ll identify and secure Supply Chain resources to support the capture plan and manage the Supply Chain content of the proposal pipeline.
