The MPM will be accountable for ensuring supplier performance. The MPM role requires a winner, leader, and self-starter, capable of achieving success in a fast paced cross-functional environment. The MPM is accountable to overall supplier management, performance and success and is the interface between Supply Chain, the Program Office/Integrated Product team (IPT), supplier, and other functions working on various contract lifecycles. Ultimately, this role requires a leader who is responsible for executing supply chain strategies and ensuring organizational and program objectives are achieved.\nWhat You Will Do\nWork closely with program and partnering functions to ensure successful supplier management and execution in support of program needs and requirements in support of EAC review, and Execution Gate activities.\nSupport planning, execution, and reporting of material budgets, schedules, and Annual Operating Plan (AOP) commitments.\nUse critical thinking skills to propose sound and innovative business solutions to increase operational efficiencies to ensure business area and program success.\nProcess information from multiple sources to achieve a successful outcome.\nExecute supply chain strategies by overall ownership of the supplier management process including supplier performance, supply chain metrics, and communication of customer flow through requirements.\nIdentify/Generate material risks opportunities in alignment with program execution and proactively manage mitigation/capture plan.\nWork closely with IPT: Engineering, Quality and Operations to support program budget and schedule and resolution of product non-conformance.\nParticipate in and lead supplier engagements to ensure required performance is met.\nAssist procurement with supplier Request for Proposals / Quotes (RFP’s / RFQ’s)\nThis role will require you to be onsite in our Goleta, CA facility.\nQualifications You Must Have\nTypically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.\nMinimum 5 years of experience in program/project management, supply chain function, operations, procurement and/or material management role.\nMinimum 3 years of experience working directly with suppliers.\nExperience with material requirements planning (MRP) processes and using manufacturing or enterprise planning tools\nQualifications We Prefer\nSupply chain experience in the defense industry.\nExperience as a Cost Account Manager for Material Estimate at Complete EAC and Material Forecasting.\nExperience in finance, business or performance analysis, and/or accounting.\nEarned Value Management (EVM) certification or equivalent.\nExperience using and creating pivot tables in Microsoft Excel\nWhat We Offer\nOur values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world.
