The ideal individual will support, and in some cases, lead Supply Chain Execution, Customer Proposal, and Program Start-up efforts for the Ship Systems Integration & Sustainment (SSIS) portfolio.\nIf you enjoy developing creative solutions to challenging issues in a cutting-edge environment, then this role is for you. You will be the liaison between the program office, engineering, operations, quality, contracts, and finance organizations. The selected candidate is responsible for ensuring the successful development, coordination and of material strategies enabling the execution of SSI programs to meet supply chain, portfolio, and business objectives.\nThis position is a remote role. The selected candidate will work with the hiring manager to set schedule. Some travel required (up to 25%).\nWhat You Will Do:\nParticipate in program, IPTL, and supplier meetings as a core SCM member\nDevelop and execute material program plans (MPP) and subcontract management plans\nOverall ownership of the supplier management process including supplier performance, Supply Chain metrics, Make/Buy Where strategy, strategic agreements\nOverall ownership of the supplier and finance management process (i.e., Risk/Opportunity, Line of Balance, Metrics, Material sales forecasts)\nLiaise between the Program Executive, Program Managers, IPTs and the Supply Chain organization\nOversee all SCM activities needed to meet program requirements, and ensure a strong link between various Supply Chain functions, including Sourcing, Logistics, and Production Control\nProactively address and complete urgent supply chain tasking (Purchase Requisitions integrity, Single/Sole Source Justifications, Supplier Statement of Work (SSOW), Purchase Order follow up\nRepresent the Supply Chain organization on policies, strategies, and objectives\nDomestic travel not to exceed 20%\nImplement continuous improvement through CORE, Six Sigma or related Lean methodologies/principals\nQualifications You Must Have:\nTypically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience\n3 years experience in a supply chain role or related role such as Production Control, Operations, Finance or Supplier Engineering\nExperience working in a cross functional matrixed Integrated Product Team (IPT) environment\nQualifications We Prefer:\nMPM level 4 certification or equivalent experience\nExperience with Prime Contract Requirements and Statements of Work (SOW)\nExperience with Supplier Statements of Work (SOW)\nExpertise with Supply Chain / Production Control / Procurement processes, Special Access Programs / MRP systems, and requirements management\nExpertise in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)\nWhat We Offer\nOur values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
