Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.\nRole Overview\nThe Production & Material Strategy team is responsible for developing and executing data-driven solutions to resolve material shortages and serves as the bridge between supply chain and operations to mitigate risks and maintain flow in a highly dynamic environment. The “go to” problem solvers for complex material challenges.\nKey Responsibilities\nMaterial Mitigation & Recovery\nIdentify, analyse and resolve material constraints\nCollaborate with engineering and supply chain to identify suitable alternates, substitutions or expanded inspection limit options\nExpedite, swap/ exchange or reassign materials across production line up to meet urgent build requirements\nTrack, report and follow up on mitigation actions to closure\nReview on-hand and in-transit material positions to reallocate availability to highest priority needs\nCross-Functional Coordination\nWork closely with internal Supply Chain (Procurement & Vendor Control), Engineering and Network Program to ensure aligned delivery priorities\nFacilitate tiered meetings, ensuring transparency and accountability for shortage resolutions\nAnalytics & Reporting Maintain mitigation trackers, and shortage health indicators dashboard\nPerform analyses for emerging trends of material issues and propose mitigation strategies\nPrepare executive summaries highlighting critical risks and upcoming constraints\nQualifications You Must Have\nBachelor’s degree in any disciplines.\n\nExperience in project planning, production, operations, or manufacturing.\n\nProven ability to manage and motivate teams to achieve business goals\n\nDemonstrated problem solving and leadership skills.\n\nAbility to communicate at all levels of the organization.\n\nProcess and detail oriented, including strong interpersonal and prioritization skills.\n\nLean manufacturing or repair experience with a continuous improvement mindset.\n\nQualifications We Prefer\nRelevant experience in Aerospace or Manufacturing.\nRelevant aircraft engine workshop practices and maintenance & repair of gas turbine engines.\nWhat We Offer\nCareer and skills development opportunities.\nEmployee scholarship program for further education.\nComprehensive health, medical and dental benefits.\nOn-the-job training and in-house/external certifications.\nCompetitive renumeration package.\nAllowance and overtime benefits where appliable.\nCompany transport provided.\nRTX adheres to the principles of equal employment.
