This is a onsite role based at our Plymouth site, where we design and manufacture control, navigation, and guidance systems for both air and surface applications.\nOur world-class products include MEMS-based Inertial Measurement Units (IMUs) and the TERPROM® Digital Terrain Reference Navigation System. Our growth plan includes development and extension of our current technologies into state-of-the-art military and civil aircraft applications.\nWhat You Will Do:\nMaintain, and update master data for materials, BOMs, and planning parameters.\nEnsure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of master data across ERP and planning systems.\nCover for the master production scheduler.\nCross-collaborate to review inventory trends, drive actions to meet targets and develop MP parameters utilizing EMP/IE standards & enterprise policies.\nInventory forecasting, inclusive of input / output models, and reason codes for inventory inaccuracy & problem solving inclusive of trapped, stranded, etc.\nManage entitlement levels, present inventory rollups and executive insights; generate summaries and KPI analyses for decision-making.\nDrive continuous improvements to enhance overall inventory management by eliminating process gaps, enhancing forecast accuracy, automating reporting, shortening cycle times and streamlining cross-functional handoffs.\nTrack performance to financial plans and collaboration with finance, support SIOP process with inventory plan.\nForecast management process on raw and purchased parts, planning strategies for special stock.\nAttend / Input to monthly reviews.\nWhat You Will Learn:\nThis role offers a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within materials planning and inventory management. Training and support will be provided to help you develop your knowledge of ERP/MRP systems, inventory management, forecasting and advanced Excel skills.\nQualifications / Experience We Prefer:\nA university degree or ideally, prior relevant experience although we are happy to consider someone who is looking to take the next step in their career\nComputer literate\nBasic knowledge of MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
