An opportunity has arisen for Mechanic Inspectors to work within our Operational Business Units.\nWe require experienced individuals who will contribute to our success, whilst upholding our reputation as a leading provider of quality MRO services with our European and Middle Eastern customers.\nWhat you will do:\nCarry out complex tasks which include disassemble, repair, and assembly of aircraft nacelle components.\nThe ability to read and interpret technical data (specified manuals, service bulletins/ airworthiness directives, and engineering drawings or instructions)\nCompliance to required quality, safety and EHS regulations\nIdentifying and implementing process improvements\nWhat You Will Learn:\n· Professional Development: Gain access to company-sponsored certifications and training programs, mentorship and guidance from industry leaders, opportunities to develop your leadership skills by driving exciting high-impact projects and initiatives. Thrive in a culture of continuous learning and innovation, where curiosity is encouraged and supported.\nPreferred Skills & Experience:\nEssentials\nTime served in a relevant discipline (with trade papers or an equivalent mechanical qualification)\nGood hands skills through experience working in a mechanical or engineering discipline.\nTaking ownership and accountability to work independently, as part of a team, and communicate priorities as required.\nExcellent communication skills\nCandidates will be required to demonstrate numerical, literacy and computer literacy skills.\nCompliance with all Collins Aerospace policies and procedures inclusive of EH&S, Code of Ethics, Intellectual Property, and ITC requirements\nDesirable\nPrevious experience in aviation maintenance repair and overhaul environment would be highly beneficial but not essential. \nExperience of aircraft composite structures and repairs would be highly beneficial.\nExperience of fastener removal and installation would be highly beneficial\nExperience of engine build up including the use of calibrated measurement equipment, and torquing applications would be highly beneficial\nSAP experience (or similar operating systems) would be advantageous although not essential\nAn understanding of the principles of Lean/Continuous Improvement would be advantageous.\nThe role requires flexibility in rapidly evolving global aviation market.
