In this role, you will assist with manufacturing process oversight, product quality verification, first article inspections, and the creation and maintenance of work and inspection instructions. You will also help prepare for internal and external audits.\nThis position plays a key role in supporting a dynamic production environment where strong quality execution directly contributes to program success. Your developing knowledge and skills will be valued as you help ensure Raytheon delivers high-quality products to our customers.\n\nWhat You Will Learn\nIdentify and manage risk in the manufacturing process.\nSupporting production, first article inspections, and preparation for audits.\nCreating/maintaining work/inspection instructions.\nVerify product and process compliance with respect to contractual, technical, industry, AS9100 Quality Management System (QMS) requirements and internal policies.\nRegular interface with DCMA.\nDaily status meetings with internal stakeholders to manage issue, and weekly meetings to help reduce cost of poor quality.\nSupporting strategic efforts that meet the quality department goals.\nSupport failure analysis, Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations, including identifying non-conformances, providing solutions, tracking issues to closure.\nQualifications You Must Have\nTypically requires a Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM) with 2 years of relevant experience in quality engineering, manufacturing engineering or operations engineering\nThe ability to obtain and maintain an INTERIM U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
