Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.\nOur team in McKinney, TX, is seeking an onsite Operations Quality Engineer II to perform quality activities to aid the Design activities and respective Quality Assurance Plans (IE: First Article Inspections, PFMEA, and checks on incoming and outgoing hardware).\nWhat You Will Do:\nEngage on both strategic and tactical levels, focusing on quality, cost and schedule performance, early engagement, influencing and providing differentiating quality value to program teams and customers.\nPlan, conduct and oversee Internal/External audits to aid Raytheon’s Certifications.\nDevelop partnerships with program and production leaders, IPTs, and other functions to drive issue resolution and implement improved processes.\nGenerate new Cost of Poor Quality (CoPQ) projects to reduce costs on the program and McKinney CMC.\nInterpret requirements such as drawings and command media in compliance to work being performed.\nManage, lead and provide guidance to Quality Control inspectors.\nTravel: None required\nQualifications You Must Have:\nBachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and two (2) years of relevant experienceRelevant experience is work in quality, engineering, operations, program management or manufacturing.\n\nExperience with ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 Quality Management Systems and performing FAI per those requirements.\nExperience performing audits of products and processes within a program or business\nExperience reading and interpreting requirements/drawings and identifying deficiencies/defects.\nExperience in Quality Assurance, audits and RCCA (Root Cause Corrective Action) methodologies, and/or Process Improvement and streamlining.\nExperience in hardware inspections and inspection standards.\nQualifications We Prefer:\nExperience using people skills and working with customers, suppliers, in a team environment, facilitating cross-functional teams in systematic improvement activities.\nExperience communicating verbally and in written communications and networking with other stakeholders while problem solving and creating resolutions with effective and concise presentation skills.\nDemonstrated experience with Process Re-invention Integrating Systems for Manufacturing (PRISM) or SAP.\nWhat We Offer:\nOur values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world.
