Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.\nAs part of the Quality and Mission Assurance team in McKinney, TX, the Operations Quality Engineer will engage cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on top priorities to drive containment, Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) implementation.\nWhat You Will Do\nUse critical thinking resources and methods to improve product design; minimize inspection; resolve manufacturing defects/problems; complete such specialized quality functions as data preparation, analyses, and reporting.\nPerform product and process audits for compliance to various standards and product requirements.\nCoordinate resolution of nonconforming material with Engineering and Production Control teams.\nSupport process improvements initiatives.\nSupport Process Failure Modes & Effects Analysis on processes and products to prevent product defects and mitigate risk\nSupport implementation of product Quality Control Plans \nLead and support root cause and corrective action activities\nAct on all applicable material, product and equipment alerts to prevent impact to product reliability using the nonconformance and/or purge process\nManage dropped and damaged hardware processing and incident reporting.\nUse Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project). \nQualifications You Must Have\nTypically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics(STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experienceRelevant experience is working in the field of quality, operations or manufacturing engineering or other engineering discipline\n\nExperience with AS9100 or ISO9001 Quality Management systems.\nPrevious experience with First Article Inspections (AS9102) and/or Advanced Product Quality Planning (AS9145).\nExperience with technical procedures, specifications, standards, and/or other engineering and manufacturing documents.\nThe ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
