Power and Controls focuses on delivering a best-in-class experience to our customers.\nAs an Evacuation Slide Packer, you will be expected to perform parts assembly, handle dangerous goods components, fold, pack and test inflatable in accordance with the component maintenance manual requirements. Technicians will work in a dynamic and physical demanding work environment and in a team setting to meet the high demand of quality, safety, and output requirement.\nResponsibilities:\nPerform work at cell level to meet the production schedule.\nInspect and assemble all sub-component parts and perform final testing in accordance with CMM (Component Maintenance Manual) requirement.\nAdhere strictly to the safety procedures and requirements when handling dangerous goods.\nPerform folding and packing of inflatable in accordance with CMM and Packing Instructions requirements.\nPromptly resolve issues and ensure all repair cost estimates are updated accurately.\nWork in close cooperation with the supervisor and other support personnel to resolve problems when necessary.\nAdhere to Quality Management System (e.g. AS9110C / Airworthiness Part 145 requirement)\nUnderstand the use of common measuring equipment like torque wrench, calipers, micrometers, bore and depth gauges.\nComply with all Environment, Health & Safety policies, and regulations\nComplies with all US and Singapore Export Control Regulations\nActively participate in process improvement and environmental, health and safety activities.\nRequirements:\nMinimum GCE \"O\" Level, ITE/ NITEC in the field of mechanical, mechatronic, or other engineering discipline or equivalent experience\nPersonnel with similar experience in slide packing would have added advantage\nAbility to read, write and understand English\nAbility to read and work from technical and service manuals, technical orders, sales orders, specification, drawings, and other written instructions\nComputer literacy (Knowledge in SAP will be preferred)\nGood communication skills needed, both oral and written\nAble and willing to carry out physical activities work\nAbility to understand knots tying and fabric folding methods or concepts.\n Candidates with no prior aviation experience are also welcome to apply (Training will be provided)\nRTX adheres to the principles of equal employment.
